Heart of Ohio Boxer Rescue
Success Stories

Candy

Taffy

Hooch

Hooch was dumped by the side of the road in West Columbus-out in the country. He stayed by the road for weeks, waiting for his owner. No one could catch him, but Mary Nevius of our rescue had the patience and the Kentucky Fried Chicken meat to haul him in. He was full of ticks, fleas, blisters, and sores and cuts. He was only to thrilled to be adopted by a young man in Wooster, Ohio.

Buster

Buster had several different homes where he was misunderstood. When he got his own family and his very own little boy, he became the good boxer we all know.

Nala

Nala was brought to us skinny, dirty and starving for food. Kathy Myers, of our rescue group, fostered her like she had so many before, but there wa something special about this girl. Nala is now one of our official puplic relations girls. She is very loved and treasured
